This blog will chronicle my successes and failuresin attempting to follow the workout program outlined in Lou Schuler's "New Rules of Lifting"

I have never stuck to a program for more than 3 months.

I am beginning this very, very slowly.  I won't start the full-fledged program until a few weeks from now.  Today all I did was:

1 set of 10 front squats with 60 lbs barbell

Furthermore, all of my exercises will be with ONLY barbells, dumbbells, and a pull-up bar.  I will not use a bench press, squat rack, and definitely no machines.  I will do it all in my apartment.  I will post photos of myself as I progress through the program.

I will be eating a mostly vegetarian diet.
